Join The Next Door Recovery for our 9th Annual Songwriter’s Night on November 18, 2026, from 5–8 PM at The Bluebird Cafe for an intimate evening of incredible music, powerful stories, and hope.

Some of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters will take the stage to perform the songs you know and share the stories behind them—all in support of The Next Door Recovery and the women we serve.

Meet the Songwriters

Scooter Carusoe
A Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, Scooter has written chart-topping hits recorded by Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Lady A, Eric Church, and many more. We are especially grateful to welcome Scooter back for his second year supporting Songwriter’s Night—not only lending his extraordinary talent to the evening, but helping us bring together this incredible group of songwriters and make the night possible.

Ray Fulcher
A CMA Song of the Year nominee and CMA Triple Play Award winner, Ray has six #1 hits and more than 30 cuts with Luke Combs. His songs have also been recorded by artists including Chris Young, Zac Brown Band, Jordan Davis, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, and more. With more than 150 recorded songs and 4 billion streams as a songwriter, Ray has made an incredible mark on country music.

J.T. Harding
Detroit native J.T. Harding has written #1 hits for Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Darius Rucker, and Dierks Bentley, along with Uncle Kracker’s worldwide hit “Smile.” His songs have amassed more than 1 billion streams, and he is also the bestselling author of the memoir Party Like a Rockstar.
