Volunteers are vital to our mission. Your time and heart make a direct impact on the women we serve. Whether you are able to help once or on a regular basis, we have opportunities where YOU can make a difference!
As Galatians 5:13 reminds us, “Serve one another humbly in love.” When you volunteer at The Next Door Recovery, you offer more than help, you offer hope, dignity, and care through your presence.

Come see our mission in action! Schedule a tour of The Next Door Recovery to learn more about our programs, explore our campus, and see firsthand how we support women on their journey toward lifetime recovery. Gratitude Committee
Join our gratitude team in writing thank-you notes to supporters, donors, and volunteers. These notes are a meaningful way to build relationships and sustain the generosity that keeps our mission going strong. During this time, we would also love your help in writing Welcome Notes to our incoming clients. Hope you will join us and stay as long as your time allows!
Clothing Closet
Any day, any time between 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Our clothing closet provides women with clean, dignified options for daily life. This volunteer work helps ensure every woman feels prepared, respected, and supported in her next steps.
Spiritual Support: Wednesday Wellness
We are seeking 4 volunteers each week to help lead small group Bible study sessions as part of our Wednesday Wellness programming.
Meal Service
Volunteers are invited to help serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Mealtimes are a central part of the day at The Next Door Recovery, offering not just nourishment but also connection and comfort. Your presence helps create a warm, supportive environment where women can feel cared for and seen.
